Thiru. S.S.Krishnamoorthi, B.Sc. (Agri.)
Started his career as an Agriculture Officer in the Department of Agriculture, Government of Tamilnadu. He served as a Chairman of Kalasapakkam Panchayat Union in the initial part of his political career. Elected as a Member of Legislative Assembly in Kalasapakkam constituency during 2006 and 2011. He served as a Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Minister for Commercial Taxes, Minister for School Education, Youth welfare and Sports Development & Minister for Agriculture during the year of 2011 to 2014. He initiates many Agriculture schemes to farmers of Tamilnadu.
